Dr. Muhammad Feteiha, a native of New Jersey and highly recognized and experienced bariatric surgeon, started the bariatric department at Overlook Hospital. Dr Joao Lopes is also a native to this area, and is highly regarded by his peers in his field of expertise including Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. He was at the forefront in developing and cultivating the Weight Loss program at Trinitas Regional Medical Center.

We understand that losing weight is an ongoing process. Our bariatric program in Springfield, New Jersey will prepare you for weight loss surgery in various steps; from offering monthly orientation seminars to guiding you through the evaluation process. You will meet with your surgeon and our nutritionist to prepare you for surgery. After surgery, we also offer a well-structured support group, proven to be successful to both initial and long term weight loss needs.
